Full description (250 words)

Sailing Virgins is the world's leading liveaboard sailing school, combining American Sailing Association (ASA) certification with the adventure of a sailing vacation. Founded in the British Virgin Islands in 2016, the school has grown from a single boat to a fleet operating across five continents. Students live aboard the training yacht for the duration of their course, learning in real sailing conditions rather than in a classroom. The all-inclusive model covers ASA certification exams, textbooks, instruction, accommodation, and all meals on the boat — with no hidden fees. Courses range from ASA 101 (Basic Keelboat) through ASA 106 (Advanced Coastal Cruising) and ASA 114 (Cruising Catamaran), taught in week-long blocks. ASA 101 and 102 are taught together in one 7-day week, as are ASA 103+104 and ASA 105+106. Weeks do not need to be consecutive. When intermediate or advanced courses are taught on a catamaran, ASA 114 certification is included at no extra cost. Pricing starts at $3,790 per week for beginner and intermediate courses, and $4,490 for advanced courses. 69.16% of first-time students book solo, and 10.51% return for a second course within 18 months. Sailing Virgins has been featured in sailing and travel publications worldwide and maintains a 5.0-star TripAdvisor rating with 217+ reviews.
