Many charter companies require ASA 114 (or equivalent experience) to bareboat charter a catamaran. It demonstrates you understand multihull-specific handling and safety. Some companies may waive this with documented catamaran experience.

How long does ASA 114 take?

ASA 114 catamaran-specific training is woven throughout your 7-day course. You'll practice catamaran skills every day alongside your core certifications, so you graduate with both your ASA 103+104 (or 105+106) AND your ASA 114 endorsement.
