ㆍDo I need experience before taking a sailing course?
None required for beginners! If you can swim and have a sense of adventure, you're qualified for our ASA 101 course. For those with some experience but no formal certification, we can assess your skills to place you in the appropriate level.
ㆍHow quickly can I get certified to bareboat charter a yacht?
In just one 7-day course, intermediate sailors can complete both ASA 103 and 104, qualifying them for bareboat charters worldwide. Beginners can complete ASA 101 and 103, then return for a second course to achieve bareboat certification.
ㆍWhat types of boats do you use for training?
You'll train on modern cruising yachts 40ft or larger. We charter well-maintained vessels that are ideal for learning, including monohulls and catamarans. Group courses typically have 5 students maximum, plus your instructor.
ㆍCan I bring someone who doesn't want certification?
Absolutely! Non-participating guests enjoy the full sailing adventure at a discounted rate. They'll experience the same beautiful locations, but they’re not eligible for ASA certification.
