General Travel Tips

Arrive the day before

Avoid stress - flights get delayed. Arrive the day before your course starts.

Book flexible flights

Weather can affect final day timing. Book evening departures or stay an extra night.

Travel insurance is essential

Cover flight delays, medical emergencies, and trip interruption.

Passport validity

Most countries require 6+ months validity beyond travel dates.

Ferry Information

Road Town Fast Ferry runs STT → Tortola. Book at roadtownfastferry.com. ~$70 round trip.

Visa Requirements

BVI is a British territory. US/EU/UK citizens: passport only. Others should check gov.uk.

  • Get a local SIM at airport (very cheap data)
  • Arrive a day early to adjust to timezone
  • Lightweight, breathable clothes essential

Thailand offers visa-free entry for most nationalities (30-60 days). Check before travel.

French Polynesia (Tahiti)

  • CFP Francs are currency - bring cash for small purchases
