This is sailing, elevated.

The Signature Series is our most ambitious course. A week aboard a luxury catamaran in the Society Islands, with a private chef who turns every meal into an event, a senior instructor who turns every sail into a lesson, and a group small enough that every moment matters. You will earn your ASA 104 and 114 certifications. You will sail to Bora Bora. And you will come back different.

Limited to one or two departures per year. Maximum six students per course. This is not mass-market. This is not a cruise. This is adventure with intention, comfort without compromise, and education that happens to take place in paradise.

Two people make the difference

A 1:3 crew-to-student ratio. Every detail attended to.

Senior Instructor

Our most experienced, charismatic instructor. ASA-certified to teach 104 and 114, with deep knowledge of French Polynesian waters. They are your sailing teacher, experience curator, and the person who makes sure every day exceeds the last. Skilled with a drone, so your highlight reel is in expert hands.

Private Chef

Formally trained and passionate about local ingredients. Expect Polynesian-French fusion: poisson cru with freshly caught tuna, grilled mahi-mahi, vanilla-infused desserts, and a traditional ahima'a feast cooked in an underground oven on the beach. Every dietary need accommodated. Every meal an event.

Beyond the sailing

French Polynesia is the destination. These experiences are only possible here.

Pearl Farm Visit

Tour a Tahitian black pearl farm, learn the grafting process, and harvest your own pearl to take home.

Polynesian Ahima'a Feast

A traditional underground oven feast on the beach — food cooked the way it has been for generations.

Swim with Sharks & Rays

Safe, shallow-water encounters with blacktip reef sharks and stingrays in the Bora Bora lagoon.

Private Motu Picnic

Your chef prepares a beachside feast on a deserted sandy islet. Just your crew and the Pacific.

Vanilla Plantation Tour

Taha'a is the "Vanilla Island." Walk fragrant plantations, taste fresh vanilla, and buy beans direct.

Whale Watching

July through October, humpback whales migrate through the Society Islands. Seasonal but unforgettable.

Frequently asked questions

What sailing experience do I need for The Signature Series?
ASA 101 is recommended but not strictly required. Our senior instructor tailors the course to your level. Complete beginners have successfully completed this course — you just need to be comfortable on the water and open to learning.
How is this different from a standard Sailing Virgins course?
Everything is elevated. A 50ft+ luxury catamaran instead of a 40ft monohull. A private chef preparing three gourmet meals daily with open bar. Maximum 6 students instead of 8. Drone highlight reel, Tahitian pearl keepsake, cultural immersion experiences, and French Polynesia as your classroom.
What certifications will I earn?
ASA 104 (Bareboat Cruising) and ASA 114 (Cruising Catamaran). These are internationally recognised certifications that qualify you to charter catamarans worldwide.
How do I get to Raiatea?
Fly into Tahiti's Faa'a International Airport (PPT), then take a 45-minute Air Tahiti inter-island flight to Raiatea (RFP). We recommend arriving the day before to rest. We can help with flight recommendations during your pre-trip consultation.
What's included in the price?
Almost everything: accommodation aboard the catamaran, all meals and beverages (open bar), ASA certification fees and materials, all excursions and cultural experiences, swag pack, drone highlight reel, Raiatea airport transfers, fuel, mooring fees, and provisioning. Not included: international flights to Tahiti, inter-island flight to Raiatea (~$200 RT via Air Tahiti), pre/post hotel, travel insurance, and personal spending ashore.
Can I book the whole boat for my group?
Yes. If you have a group of 4-6, you can reserve the entire course as a private departure. Contact us for group pricing and custom date options.
When do Signature Series courses run?
We schedule 1-2 departures per year during the dry season (May through October) when the Society Islands have the best sailing conditions — steady trade winds, calm seas, and minimal rain.
What type of catamaran will we be on?
A premium 50ft+ production catamaran, typically a Lagoon 51 or Bali 5.4. These feature air conditioning, watermaker, generator, full galley, spacious cabins with en-suite heads, and a large flybridge. Starlink satellite WiFi is provided.

Ready for the best week of your life?
