What certifications can I earn?
ASA 103 and ASA 104 (Bareboat Cruising) on our Intermediate week, ASA 105 (Coastal Navigation) and ASA 106 (Advanced Coastal Cruising) on our Advanced week, and ASA 114 (Cruising Catamaran) when either week is on a catamaran.
What prerequisites do I need?
ASA 101 for the Intermediate week (or pass the ASA 101 test). ASA 104 for the Advanced week. ASA 114 has no separate requirement: it comes with an Intermediate or Advanced week on a catamaran. We verify certifications during booking.
Where are the most challenging courses?
Patagonia offers extreme conditions for serious sailors. Our offshore passage courses (Atlantic/Pacific) are for those seeking real blue-water experience.
Can I combine certifications?
Yes. Each week pairs two ASA levels: ASA 103 + 104 on Intermediate and ASA 105 + 106 on Advanced, with ASA 114 added on a catamaran.
