Join Sailing Virgins for an unforgettable week at the BVI Spring Regatta, a highlight of the Caribbean sailing calendar! Put your sailing skills to the test and jump into the world of racing! Each day at the regatta offers something new, blending the thrill of intense starts and competition in the picturesque BVIs, with relaxing evenings mingling with other crews, expanding your sailing network and enjoying a drink or two in the festival atmosphere that comes with a regatta!

You will be guided by an experienced Sailing Virgins instructor, gaining valuable insights into advanced sailing techniques and race strategy. Jump on this opportunity to be part of the Sailing Virgins Race Crew and let's show them what we got!

Day by day plan
Day 1: Monday
Nanny Cay
The festival kicks off at the Nanny Cay Resort & Marina, the event's long-standing host since 2002. The opening day includes a skipper pack collection and the launch of the Regatta Village, a hub of excitement with music, bars, food vendors, and more.  We will be taking this opening day as an opportunity to practice our roles, tune the boat and introduce everyone to racing rules and tactics!
Day 2: Tuesday
Round Tortola Race
The Sailing Festival begins with the Round Tortola Race for the Nanny Cay Cup, a 37-nautical mile challenge around Tortola Island which promises to be a long and leasurely race - great way to start the week. After the race, we will have our daily de-breif on the days racing then enjoy the vibrant Regatta Village, grab a drink at Peg Legs, mingle with other crews while relaxing and share stories from the day's events - Presentation and awards for the days racing at 1730.
Day 3: Wednesday
Scrub Island Race
The Scrub Island Invitational takes competitors on a shorter 12-nautical mile race to Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina. This day combines competitive sailing with leisure as participants are welcomed with cold drinks, a BBQ, and access to the resort's two-tier pool. Awards and party starting from 1300.
Day 4: Thursday
Lay Day
A "Lay Day" is a scheduled day off mid-regatta. A day of relaxing, talking through some more race tutorials and possibly getting in a dinghy to experience small boat racing! Later in the day we will head out to meet our other Sailing Virgins yacht and raft up for the night.
Day 5: Friday
BVI Spring Regatta
The BVI Spring Regatta begins, marked by the Mount Gay Rum Race Day. There will be 2-3 races daily starting at 1000 sharp. These will be shorter races than the earlier days so expect more intense racing! This is where it gets real!
Day 6: Saturday
Short Course Racing
The final two days of the BVI Spring Regatta continue with shorter course racing of 2-3 races daily. The diverse fleet, including a strong bareboat segment and divisions ensures thrilling competition and plenty to race for all the way through the field!  The event will culminate with the prize giving ceremony starting at 1630 on the 7th at Nanny Cay Marina.
Day 7: Sunday
Short Course Racing
The final two days of the BVI Spring Regatta continue with shorter course racing of 2-3 races daily. The diverse fleet, including a strong bareboat segment and divisions ensures thrilling competition and plenty to race for all the way through the field!  The event will culminate with the prize giving ceremony starting at 1630 on the 7th at Nanny Cay Marina.
